“Camping It Up” In Sitges

El Garrofer was our first proper campsite since we left home back in October so we made full use of the facilities – the novelty of being able to put our tables and chairs out and leave them out for a few days , along with being able to get the washing done and dried outside in the sunshine and, best of all, being able to shower in unlimited hot water was pretty awesome ! Our days were spent idly walking along the almost empty sandy beaches, mooching around the very pretty old town, discovering the golf course at Dolce Sitges and  a rocky coastline walk and enjoying tapas and Estrella outside a nice little bar where a big enough plate of assorted yummies and four pints cost us a mere €19 !

Come Monday morning, we had itchy feet again so off we set in a south westerly direction heading ever closer to our Christmas destination.

  1. Bravo! Still in calahonda this week – maybe you are still too far away. Enjoy sunshine & tapas. Will raise a glass from Marbella on Monday.
